Amid the ongoing unrest in the Middle East, US-Bangla Airlines has taken the initiative to bring back 27 flight crew members of Biman Bangladesh Airlines stranded in Dubai. At the same time, more than a hundred passengers, including expatriate Bangladeshis, have also been brought to Dhaka on a special flight.

It is learned that the crew members were stranded in Dubai when the war situation started in the Middle East on February 28. They were in uncertainty for about five days. At that time, their families were also spending their days in extreme anxiety.

Considering the situation, US-Bangla Airlines, as a service-oriented organization, took special initiatives. With the permission of the Dubai Airport Authority, the company operated two special flights to bring back the stranded Bangladeshis.

In continuation of this, a total of 378 passengers landed safely at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a special flight on Thursday (March 5). Another special flight is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Friday (March 6) morning.

These special flights are being operated by a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

This initiative has enabled the crew and passengers stranded in Dubai to return home safely and has also eased the concerns of their families.
