The asset declarations of the Chief Adviser of the Caretaker Government, other advisers, equivalent-ranking officials, and their spouses have been made public.

On Tuesday (February 10), the Cabinet Division released the declarations through an official gazette. According to the notification, in line with a previous gazette issued on October 1, 2024, the asset statements of the caretaker government’s advisers and equivalent-ranking officials, along with their spouses, as of June 30, 2024, and June 30, 2025, have now been published.

Earlier, in August 2024, just two weeks after taking office, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus had pledged in a national address that the asset declarations of all advisers would be made public at the earliest possible time. He stated at the time, “The current government has taken a firm stand against corruption. All our advisers will promptly disclose their asset statements, and eventually this will become a regular and mandatory practice for all government officials.”
