Finally in Sylhet, Tareque Rahman on the Soil of Bangladesh

Ending a long wait, BNP Acting Chairman Tareque Rahman has returned to Bangladesh. The Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG–202 carrying him landed at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet a little before 10:00 a.m. on Thursday (25 December).
According to the scheduled itinerary, after approximately one hour of ground turnaround in Sylhet, the flight is expected to depart for Dhaka at 10:55 a.m. It is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:45 a.m.
Tareque Rahman also shared the moment of his return on social media. Shortly after arriving in the country, he posted two photographs on his verified Facebook page, writing, “Finally in Sylhet, on the soil of Bangladesh!” One of the photos shows Tareque Rahman alone, while the other shows him with his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
His daughter, Zaiema Rahman, expressed the same sentiment by sharing a photo from her own Facebook account, showing Tareque Rahman and Dr. Zubaida Rahman together with their only child, Zaiema Rahman.
After a long absence, Tareque Rahman’s return to the country has generated visible emotion, enthusiasm, and excitement among BNP leaders, activists, and supporters.
