Education Minister's meeting with protesting teachers

Education Minister holds a meeting with agitating teachers It is said that Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury has held a meeting with agitating teachers demanding cancellation of universal pension scheme.
The meeting is being held at the conference room of the Ministry of Education on Monday (July 29) around 4 pm.
Abul Khair, the public relations officer of the Ministry of Education, told reporters that the Education Minister will hold a meeting with the leaders of Bangladesh University Teachers Association Federation at 4 pm on Monday.
President of Bangladesh University Teachers Association Federation and Professor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Shabiprobi). Md. Akhtarul Islam confirmed the matter and said that the teachers will sit in a meeting with the Education Minister on Monday afternoon.
Federation of Teachers Association announced to continue the general strike
The teachers of 39 public universities of the country went on strike after stopping class-exams from July 1. They have been carrying out this program on the call of Bangladesh University Teachers Association Federation.
Earlier, a teachers' meeting was held with Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on this issue. After the meeting with Obaidul Quader failed, Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury is holding a meeting with the teachers on Monday.
