Bangladesh Army and Air Force helicopters will conduct trial landings and take-offs in two open fields near Evercare Hospital in the capital on Thursday. This activity will be conducted as part of the security protocol of the Special Security Force (SSF). For this, the general public has been requested not to be confused.
This information was given through an official notification on the verified Facebook page of the Chief Advisor at 1:19 pm on Wednesday. The notification said that this trial operation of helicopters will continue in two fields adjacent to Evercare Hospital between 12 pm and 4 pm tomorrow, December 4.
Meanwhile, BGB has already been deployed in front of Evercare Hospital. Former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment inside the hospital. The SSF security perimeter has been further strengthened as the government has declared her a 'Very Important Person' (VVIP).
SSF members officially took over security duties for Khaleda Zia at around 2:20 pm on Tuesday. Since then, a special security cordon has been observed in the hospital and surrounding areas. The crowd of leaders and activists is also increasing in the area.
The notification mentioned that this helicopter test exercise will be conducted as part of the SSF's security protocol. It further said that the public is urged to be patient and not panic during this process.
