New controversy against Abu Taha Muhammad Adnan

Islamic speaker Abu Taha Muhammad Adnan is in the news again. This time, his second wife Sabiqun Nahar has alleged that Taha has a close relationship with an air hostess, Zareen Jabin. Not stopping at just the allegations, she also released a photo of Zareen Jabin collected from the CCTV footage of Taha's educational institution.
Sabiqun Nahar made these allegations in a long post on her Facebook profile on Monday (October 13) night. She wrote that her fans are trying to prove Adnan innocent by bringing his past life to the fore. In the post, she said—
"The fans are trying to prove me guilty by bringing up the mistakes left by my past life and making a current criminal innocent—is this at all forgivable? The influence of the truth is irresistible, no matter how much it is hidden."
She alleged that Adnan used to keep in touch with multiple women and build relationships. Sabikun Nahar claims that two years ago, Adnan used to keep in touch with a young woman from Rangpur regularly on phone and WhatsApp, and even pressured her to bring her home.
In Sabikun Nahar's words,
"A close person named Yamin also has evidence of his contact with that girl. Yamin himself admitted that his brother (Abu Taha) was angry with the girl because he wanted to end the relationship."
She also claimed that Adnan also kept in touch with the daughter of a woman suffering from cancer. "He developed a close relationship on the pretext of helping the girl with her medical treatment," said Sabikun Nahar. "He would even bring the girl to Dhaka and bear her expenses, but he did not let me get involved in the matter in any way."
She also mentioned in the post that Adnan also developed a relationship with a teacher he taught at his madrasa.
“He used to give that girl money and gifts, and ask her to contact him if necessary. He even talked to her on the phone for a long time once. I suspected her, but I didn’t say anything at the time,” wrote Sabiqun Nahar.
She alleged that Adnan himself has admitted several times that he has problems with women. In Sabiqun Nahar’s words,
“Whenever he saw a girl on the street, he would look at her and say Subhanallah, Mashallah, even if she was next to him. It was because he didn’t protect her eyes that she was destroyed.”
Expressing the pain of her personal life collapsing, she said,
“I wanted to build a happy family with my family and my children. But despite all my love in my five years of married life, I am destitute for her today.”
Explaining the reason for revealing the matter online, Sabiqun Nahar said,
“I have been trying to resolve the matter for two years, but no one has come forward. Now I am telling it online, because his followers are also active online. This time, God willing, it will be resolved.”
Meanwhile, no comment has been received from Abu Taha Muhammad Adnan or air hostess Zareen Zabin on this matter yet. However, there is widespread discussion and debate on social media.
