14 July 2022 at noon. Sunny tells mother to go out. Mother should not let her son go out without eating. He brought rice on a plate for him. Sunny eats some rice in a hurry and leaves. It is said that he will eat later back home. After returning home, Sunny's frozen body. The boy did not finish the rice. For this reason, after Sunny's death, mother does not eat rice anymore.

On the afternoon of July 14, 2022, Tarikuzzaman Sani, a student of Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET), went missing after falling into the river with 15 friends at Mainot Ghat under Doha Police Station of Dhaka District. Sunny's body was recovered from Mainot Ghat at 11:26 on July 15.

The day after the incident, Sunny's brother Hasanuzzaman filed a case against 15 of Sunny's friends at the Doha police station. Later the accused were arrested and sent to jail. They are currently on bail. Meanwhile, even after two years of the incident, the investigation of the case has not been completed. Inspector Kawsar Gazi of Doha's Qutubpur Naval Police outpost is now investigating the case after two investigating officers. So far, the investigation agency has taken time to submit the investigation report 20 times. The next date for filing the case report is August 4.

Kawsar Gazi, the investigation officer of the case, said that he received the investigation charge of the case a few days ago. Investigation is ongoing. The victim's family filed a case alleging murder. But as there is no digital system there is no footage available. There are no eyewitnesses. None of the arrested 15 accused confessed to the murder. They say that Sunny slipped and drowned in the water. They have nothing to do with his death. Apart from this, the post-mortem report which has been received, it is mentioned in that report that Sunny drowned in water and died due to breathing problem. The autopsy did not reveal that he had been murdered. It would have been easier to investigate the matter if there were CCTV cameras. All things considered, we believe he drowned while standing on the couch talking on the phone. His bag and shoes were floating in the water.

He said, as per the direction of the higher authority, the investigation process is continuing to unravel the mystery of the murder in the case. At the end of the overall review, a report will be submitted to the court stating what will be found in the investigation.

Sunny's brother Hasanuzzaman said, I have a feeling that the police will file a report. I filed a case. Police are investigating. They are doing their own investigation. i am waiting If the investigation report is not positive, we will take further action.

He said, 16 of them went for a walk together. 15 people could come alive. One could not come. And he didn't know everyone well. Never traveled with them before. And Sunny's body was not found far from the river, it was found nearby. And his iPhone, bike keys were not found. Then 15 people said 15 different things. It is doubtful. And they did not go to the river. It was on the shore. There are no people there after dusk. And the incident happened after 7 pm. There was a sand dredger next to it. Their (accused) words fall from the sand dredger. My words may fall. There were 30 hands of 15 people. There was bamboo and rope next to it. They tried to save him. And if people try to save, Allah also helps them.

Hasanuzzaman said, there was a lot of hope for the brother. And he is a student of BUET. There was a little more hope for him. We don't have a father. Mother and we are two brothers. That brother also died. Since then the mother has been silent. He cries when he remembers Sunny. That afternoon, Sunny wanted to go out. Mother will not let him go without eating. Brings a plate of rice for him. But Sunny eats some rice and leaves. After Sunny's death, the mother no longer eats rice because the son did not finish the rice. Eat bread, soup. We don't force it either. He may have mental problems. And the doctor also said that people can live without eating rice.

He said, my brother is dead. It is natural to have doubts. I have no one but my brother. I filed a case. I want to punish the real culprits.

It is to be noted that on the afternoon of July 14, 2022, Tarikuzzaman Sunny, a student of Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET), went missing while walking with 15 friends at Moint Ghat under Dohar Police Station of Dhaka District. Sunny's father's name is Haroon Or Rashid, a fifth session student of Architecture Department of BUET. The house is in Hazaribagh of the capital.

After the disappearance, the diving team from the fire service headquarters went in search of Sunny. Even after a long search that night, he was not found. Later on July 15 at 11:26 PM, the body of the BUET student was recovered from Mainot Ghat.

Sunny's elder brother Hasanuzzaman filed a murder case in this incident on July 15 afternoon. The accused are Shariful Hossain, Shakeel Ahmed, Sejan Ahmed, Rubel, Sajeeb, Nurzaman, Nasir, Maruf, Ashraful Alam, Jahangir Hossain Liton, Noman, Zahid, ATM Shahriar Momin, Maruful Haque Maruf and Roknuzzaman alias Jitu.

Pranab Kumar Dey, the lawyer for the accused, said that it is not actually a murder, the boy died after slipping down. Naturally, the accused in this case are completely innocent. Let's see if the police report comes, then we will review the matter and take a decision. But hopefully, the investigation will prove the allegations against the accused to be prima facie false.
