Army and Turkish Airlines sign MoU, military personnel will get discounts and benefits in global travel

In continuation of the friendly bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Turkey, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Bangladesh Army and Turkish Airlines.
The signing of the agreement was held at the Army Multipurpose Complex in Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday.
Under this MoU, serving and retired members of the Bangladesh Army will now be able to travel to different countries of the world through Turkish Airlines for official or personal purposes at relatively affordable prices.
As a result of the agreement, the international travel expenses of military personnel will be significantly reduced and savings will also be ensured in terms of government expenditure.
In addition, serving and retired military personnel will also be able to enjoy the benefits of Star Alliance, one of the world's largest airline alliances. This will not only increase the operational capabilities of the army while on duty abroad, but also make their travel for personal needs easier and more comfortable.
This agreement is expected to open a new horizon not only for the members of the army, but also for the Bangladesh-Türkiye bilateral relations.
