The court has ordered to investigate whether there is any anti -state information or material on the mobile phone, laptop and passports discussed. The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate MA Azharul Islam issued the order on Tuesday.
The court has directed the investigating officer that the report should be submitted by August 5 to investigate the actual ownership of these seized devices and whether there is anything against the state.
Meghna Alam was present in court that day. He stood on the head, in his hand - he stood in a different look. His two lawyers, Advocate Mohsin Reza and Advocate Mahima Bandhan, appealed to the court - MacBook, laptop, mobile and passports were returned to him.
However, state prosecutor Harun Aur Rashid opposed the petition, saying, "The case is very active. The case is still under investigation. Meghna used these devices to blacmail those who used to blackmail. It would not be right to return these devices now for the sake of investigation."
On April 4, Meghna Alam was sent to jail with a 5 -day detention law under the Special Powers Act. However, the detention was canceled at the court's order. Later on April 7, he was arrested in a case of fraud and extortion of Dhanmondi police station. The court granted his bail on April 27 and was released on April 23.
The case is still under investigation. A strong investigation into Meghna devices is under investigation. According to the court, the concerned are preparing to run the search deeply.
