The Ameer of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, ‘Although the state directors of the past were highly educated, they could not prove that they were educated in moral education. As a result, the state directors of 53 years have become banyan trees with their fingers swollen by corruption and have turned Bangladesh into a bottomless basket by smuggling the country's money abroad.’
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a program at the Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium in the capital on Saturday morning. The Central Council-2025 of the National Teachers Forum was held at the program. A press release in this regard has been issued by Islamic Movement Bangladesh.
Charmonai Pir also said, ‘We want to unite and give the nation a beautiful country and for this, we seek the cooperation of the countrymen.’
He said to the teachers, ‘Teachers are the craftsmen of creating ideal citizens. The National Teachers Forum is working to unite these human-building craftsmen.’
Later, he demanded that the appointment of religious teachers should be made mandatory in primary and secondary schools so that every Muslim child can receive religious education.
Charmonai Pir dissolved the 2023-24 committee of the National Teachers Forum and announced a new 2025-26 committee. Professor Nasir Uddin Khan was nominated as the president, Maulana ABM Zakaria as the vice-president, and lecturer Abdus Sabur as the secretary general.
