The entire district is in a state of joy surrounding the Waz Mahfil of renowned Islamic thinker and speaker Dr. Mizanur Rahman Azhari in Lalmonirhat. According to local devotees and followers, he is expected to arrive on Saturday afternoon. He will deliver a valuable speech to lakhs of people after the Zuhr prayers, said the president of the organizing committee, Alhaj Abdul Hakim.
The organizers said that about 10 to 12 lakh people can attend this mahfil. Keeping in mind the crowd, four grounds have been prepared - Suhrawardy Ground, Collectorate Ground, CP School Ground and the District Stadium Ground specially allocated for women. Each ground will have a state-of-the-art sound system including projectors.
The law enforcement forces of Lalmonirhat are particularly active to ensure security. A security cordon has been set up with the help of Ansar, Police, RAB, Army and BGB. In addition, the organizers' own 5,000 volunteers will manage the entire event smoothly.
The organizers hope that this historic gathering will be a memorable milestone for religious people.
