Relations with Bangladesh Army remain as before: Army Chief!

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said that India's military relations with the Bangladesh Army remain as strong as before. He said that till date, there has been no instance of hostility from any side or personally.
General Dwivedi also said, "Despite the political change in Bangladesh, communication between the two sides in the military sector continued. We have maintained our coordination through video conferencing."
Responding to a question from Indian journalists regarding Bangladesh on Monday, he said, "The Bangladesh Army Chief recently said, 'India is strategically important to us.' The opposite is also true - Bangladesh is also strategically important to India."
He also said, "We are neighbors, we have to live together. Showing any kind of hostility is not good for any side."
General Dwivedi said that no adverse action has been taken by any side since the interim government of Bangladesh took office.
He also mentioned, "Joint military exercises have been suspended for the time being. "However, it will be resumed when the situation improves."
