On the occasion of 12th Rabiul Awal in Chilmari of Kurigram, two people were injured in a clash between two sides after the distribution of khichuri at the mosque. The incident happened at Ramana Model Union.

On Sunday night, a boy named Babu Mia asked a few people including Ranga Mia for a packet of khichuri before the Milad and Dua at Ramna Khara Eidgah Ground Jame Masjid of Ramna Model Union of the upazila. Later, after the distribution of khichuri among the Muslims present at the mosque at the end of Milad, a fight took place between both Babu Mia and his people during the distribution of khichuri from house to house.
Sohan Mia (17), Mizanur Rahman (20) were injured. Later, when local residents took them to Chilmari Hospital, the doctor on duty referred the two to Kurigram Government Hospital.
They are residents of Ramna Farm area of ​​the same union. Ranga Mia said, while giving food to those who helped us in cooking khichuri, a few people including Babu asked for packets of khichuri and it was not given. It is very sad that this happened.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chilmari Model Police Station Pranakrishna Debnath said that the situation was normalized after going to the spot at night.
No one has made any complaint in this regard, if any complaint is made, necessary action will be taken.
