Publish Gazette declaring Nazrul 'National Poet' : Bangladesh NAP

Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP leaders have called upon the interim government to immediately issue a gazette notification to officially declare Kazi Nazrul Islam, the poet of the people of Bangladesh, as the "national poet of Bangladesh". It is a sad fact that his name as national poet is not in any official document of the government. Even after 53 years of independence, not publishing the gazette announcing Bangladesh's national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam as the 'national poet' is an extreme failure of the ruling group.
Bangladesh NAP Chairman Jebel Rahman Gani and Secretary General M. Golam Mostafa Bhuiya claimed this.

They said, "Although Kazi Nazrul Islam has been written as the national poet at the national level and in various state events, no official notification or any other document related to declaring Kazi Nazrul as the national poet has been found anywhere in the Ministry of Culture, National Archives, Nazrul Institute and Bangla Academy. Which is very shameful as a nation. He is the national poet of Bangladesh on the basis of public information, not through institutional announcement on paper.
The leader said, "He was mentioned as the national poet in various government events. But all is indirect recognition. Such acknowledgment may be deleted from time to time. The future generation may one day know that our national poet is named Kazi Nazrul Islam.
They also said, 'The source of our national inspiration is poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, the best asset of Bengalis. He is our Renaissance forerunner and shaper of tradition. He is part of our history. History and national recognition can never remain unwritten. Unwritten history and information fades with the passage of time. '
The leaders immediately declared Bangladesh's national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam as the 'national poet' and strongly demanded the government established by the mass movement of the students to publish the gazette and said, 'Kazi Nazrul is one of the shapers of our nation. The path to freedom, the motivation to move forward. Whose work shows us the way, urges us to rebel against lawlessness, tyranny, oppression.
Paying deep respect to the immortal memory of the poet of life, national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, they said, 'Kazi Nazrul is the strength of our soul. In any case, we have no alternative to Nazrul. The lesson of his working life is the lesson of our national life. Bangladesh, people of Bangladesh, independence of Bangladesh and Kazi Nazrul Islam are one and indivisible. '
The leader said, "The poet has written numerous poems, songs, stories, music, essays, novels and other writings by speaking out against imperialism, fascism, tyranny, oppression, lawlessness, discrimination, exploitation, torture and subjugation with an uncompromising brave voice. And because of that, the British government confiscated his books and works and also imprisoned him. The rebel Nazrul became a rebel even in prison. He protested the injustice-tyranny of the British government by fasting for 40 days. Poet Nazrul fought to build an exploitation-free, non-sectarian and humane society. He was the first Bengali poet, who fully wanted the independence of India.
