Lyricist Amar Chand Mandal's birthday: Joy and literary excitement across Jahangirnagar

Jahangirnagar University celebrated the 60th birth anniversary of lyricist Amar Chand Mandal with various arrangements. The event was held at the university's Zahir Raihan Auditorium in the afternoon.
Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Ahsan was present as the chief guest at the event. Hundreds of writers from all over Bangladesh participated in the event. The discussion highlighted the lives of poets and writers, their literary practice, and the contributions of Amar Chand Mandal.
At the end of the discussion, a cake was cut to celebrate the birthday. Former Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Jasim Uddin Ahmed and other distinguished guests were present at the event.
It is worth noting that Amar Chand Mandal is widely respected among literature lovers and academicians for his special contribution to the lyricism and literary practice of Bangladesh. This event is considered an important platform to recognize his literary life and inspire the new generation of writers.
