Job opportunities in Shipping Corporation, minimum salary 84 thousand

Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) has published a new notification for the recruitment of manpower. This state-owned organization will recruit a total of 16 skilled professionals for the posts of Master and Chief Engineer. Interested candidates can apply till June 21, 2026.
According to the recruitment notification, 8 people will be recruited for the post of Master and 8 people for the post of Chief Engineer. For both the posts, there must be a first class Certificate of Competency or equivalent certificate in the relevant field.
Selected candidates will get job opportunities in a salary scale of 84,000 Taka to 1,30,710 Taka. Applicants must be a maximum of 52 years of age as on June 21, 2026.
Interested candidates should fill the prescribed application form and submit the application along with the required documents in hard copy or via e-mail. The application form should be sent to gm-spd@bsc.gov.bd and a copy (CC) should be given to spd@bsc.gov.bd. The address for sending applications by post: General Manager (Ship Personnel), Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, BSC Bhaban, Saltgola Road, Chittagong.
An application fee of Tk 2,000 has been fixed to participate in the recruitment process. However, those who have already applied against the same recruitment notification published in 2019 and 2020 will not need to apply again.
