Recruitment for the post of Police SI after SSC

Bangladesh Police ASI (Unarmed) recruitment notice has been published. The total number of posts has not been mentioned in the notice. The list of vacant posts by district will be published on the Bangladesh Police website. The application process will start on 28 April 2026.
Job Description
Post Name: ASI (Unarmed)
Educational Qualifications and Experience
SSC or equivalent examination passed (at least GPA-3.5/equivalent). HSC or equivalent examination passed (at least GPA-3.5/equivalent). Must have proficiency and experience in using computers.
Physical Qualifications
Male candidates: Height—at least 5 feet 6 inches or 1.6764 meters; Chest size—32 inches or 0.8121 meters in normal condition and 34 inches or 0.8636 meters in expanded condition.
Female candidates: Height—at least 5 feet 4 inches or 1.6256 meters.
Age limit
18 to 22 years as on 1 September 2026.
Maximum age for children of freedom fighters, martyrs **freedom fighters and heroines is 32 years.
Marital status
Must be unmarried (divorced/divorced are not acceptable) and must remain unmarried until the end of the apprenticeship.
Salary and allowances
10,200-24,680 taka (Grade-14)
Training period: Training allowance will be available every month as per government rules.
Application rules
First step:
Log in to http://police.teletalk.com.bd and fill the application form. After filling the application form, the eligible candidate will get a User ID.
Second step:
The candidate will have to send 2 SMS from a Teletalk prepaid mobile number with a balance of at least 48 taka using his User ID.
First SMS: Type ASI User ID and send to 16222;
Second SMS: Type ASI YesPIN Number and send to 16222.
