Amid the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip, a large amount of arms, ammunition and war equipment have been sent from India to the country, the international human rights organization Amnesty International has said in an investigative report. The London-based media outlet Middle East Eye reported this information on the Ittefaq daily.

According to a new report by the organization, at least 2,596 shipments of military equipment were sent from India to Israel from October 7, 2023 to November 2025. The report titled ‘Made in India: The Supply of Weapons and Ammunition to Israel’ states that these shipments included more than 564,000 explosive device parts, more than 390,000 small arms parts and various components for armored vehicles. This includes drone warheads and high-powered artillery shells.

Amnesty International said that this calculation was based on a very cautious and conservative measurement method; as a result, the actual amount of Indian military assistance could be much higher. However, despite sending letters to the Indian government and nine Indian companies involved in this matter, Amnesty had not received any response by the time of publication of the report.

It is worth noting that bilateral defense and strategic relations between India and Israel have grown significantly over the past decade. Currently, India is one of the top buyers of Israeli weapons and joint ventures between various companies in the two countries are also underway to produce weapons.
