Balen Shah did not meet the Indian Foreign Secretary!

Nepalese Prime Minister Balen Shah has expressed reluctance to meet Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri. He has taken such a position mainly because he is reluctant to meet with an official below the rank of minister.
Vikram Mishri was scheduled to go to Kathmandu on Monday (May 11) on a two-day visit, through which New Delhi planned to understand the priorities of the new Nepal government. However, on Sunday (May 10), India informed that the visit has been postponed due to the Foreign Secretary's other commitments, although no specific reason was mentioned.
It is worth noting that Balen Shah had also refused to meet US Assistant Secretary of State S. Paul Kapoor earlier.
