Special flights on Dhaka-Dubai route to repatriate expatriates amid war situation

US-Bangla Airlines will operate two special flights on the Dhaka-Dubai-Dhaka route to help Bangladeshis stranded in the United Arab Emirates amid the ongoing war situation in the Middle East. The airline announced the decision in a press release on Wednesday (March 4) on ‘humanitarian grounds’.
The first special flight will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Dubai at 7:20 pm on Wednesday. The same flight will depart from Dubai for Dhaka at 12:20 am local time.
The second special flight will depart from Dhaka to Dubai at 5:15 pm on Thursday and return to Dhaka from there at 10 pm.
The two flights will be operated by a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Dhaka-Dubai flight number BS-341 and Dubai-Dhaka flight number BS-342.
The Dubai Airport Authority has given permission to some airlines including US-Bangla Airlines, Emirates and Air India to operate special flights in view of the situation, the statement said.
Bangladeshi passengers whose visas have expired or are about to expire will be given priority travel. For ticket-related information, the airline has requested to contact US-Bangla's sales center in Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates, the nearest travel agency or hotline 13605 and mobile 0177777800–806.
