Drone attack on flotilla ships on Netanyahu's orders!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly authorized drone attacks on two ships of the Global Peace Flotilla. This information was confirmed by US intelligence officials, quoted by US-based media outlet CBS News. The attack occurred early last month, when the ships were anchored in a Tunisian port on their way to Gaza in Palestine.

Citing intelligence officials, the report said that the Israeli forces flew a drone from a submarine and threw flammable material at the ships anchored outside the Tunisian port of Sidi Bou Said. It caught fire instantly. However, fortunately, there were no reports of casualties in the incident.

The published information also revealed that two ships were attacked separately on September 8 and 9. One was a Portuguese-flagged ship and the other was a British-flagged ship. Officials said the attack was completely premeditated and carried out on Netanyahu's direct orders.

International human rights law and the law of armed conflict strictly prohibit the use of incendiary devices against civilians or objects. However, this attack clearly violated it. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has not yet commented on the matter. Similarly, the Israeli army did not immediately respond to this.

Incidentally, the Global Sea Flotilla, which set off for Gaza, consisted of more than 40 ships from different countries around the world. About 500 human rights activists and volunteers participated in it. But last Wednesday, Israeli forces raided the entire fleet before it reached Gaza waters. Several ships were seized that day and the crew were detained. More ships were seized the next day. Last Friday, Israeli forces also seized the ship **'Marinet'**.
