On July 25, a sensational incident occurred at Denver International Airport in the United States. American Airlines Flight 1685, which was preparing to take off for Charlotte, North Carolina, suddenly encountered a mechanical failure. When the plane's landing gear developed a technical problem just before takeoff from the runway, the pilots made a quick decision to stop the flight.
As a result of this incident, 160 passengers and 6 crew members on board were evacuated on an emergency basis. When the plane's cabin filled with smoke, the passengers were taken down to the runway using slides. Several passengers then ran from the plane to a safe distance, screaming in panic. This thrilling scene spread on social media.
According to the report, the emergency response unit arrived there immediately after receiving reports of a malfunction in the Airbus A321 model plane. It is believed that the smoke was caused by overheated brakes. Although no fire occurred, the presence of thick smoke caused fear and panic among passengers.
Denver Airport authorities said that although the runway was closed for some time after the incident, it did not have a major impact on the overall operations of the airport.
An investigation has been launched to find out the cause of the technical failure of the plane after this incident. Many are praising the pilots and crew for their efficiency in controlling the situation despite the mechanical problems.
