Tensions in Middle East geopolitics have intensified again. Recently, several missiles and drones launched from Iran have hit Israeli territory. As a result of this attack, questions have been raised around the world about the effectiveness of many of Israel's proud defense technologies, especially 'Iron Dome' and 'David's Sling'. Although this defense system has been presented to the world as 'impenetrable' for many days, in reality it has largely collapsed.

In this context, Hamas' top leader Izzat al-Rishek has made a strong statement. In the statement published in the Palestinian media, he said, "Despite all the propaganda, Israel's Iron Dome and David's Sling missile defense systems have failed. The so-called advanced defense system has collapsed." He added, “Israel has been spreading fire throughout the region for a long time, and today they are burning in its own fire. Iran’s strong response proves that there is a response to arrogance, and punishment for aggression is inevitable.”

According to analysts, Iran’s counterattack is not just a reaction, but also a major blow to Israel from a strategic and psychological perspective. Because this attack has created insecurity among the Israeli people and damaged the image of its defense system in the world. Many missiles have escaped the sight of Iron Dome and exploded inside Israel, damaging important infrastructure and spreading intense panic among ordinary people.

This situation signals a major shift in the security and diplomatic balance of the Middle East. Israel’s long-standing military superiority and defense reliance are now facing challenges. Experts say that Iran’s attack was not just a retaliatory one, but a strategic message for the future—if Israel continues its aggression, its response will be more difficult.
