Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that India tried to attack with large fighter jets, but the Pakistani armed forces broke them like paper kites. He made these comments while talking to reporters at his residence on Saturday.
The minister said, "India sent big jets, but our soldiers broke them like kites. Those who forget their history, they disappear into history. Modi is now dealing with that wound."
He also said that the night of May 10 brought an important turning point in Pakistan's history. On this day, the country's defense system and army responded bravely and proved that Pakistan is always ready.
While talking to reporters, he said, "Many students came to my house to show solidarity, I am grateful to them. This love for the country is truly unique."
The Defense Minister congratulated the chiefs, officers and every soldier of the three services and said, "The government stands by the army. We are ready to take any final step for the security of the country."
Such a strong message from Pakistan suggests that military tensions in South Asia may once again take a new turn.
