Fire in Jerusalem, Palestine offers to help!

The state that has endangered the existence of Palestine through occupation, aggression and violence for years, has now extended a helping hand to Israel at this critical moment. When the terrible fire in the mountainous region adjacent to Jerusalem is burning forests, villages and settlements, an incredible humanitarian proposal has come from the Palestinian authorities - to send their own firefighting team to help the fire service in Israel.
According to the Times of Israel, this proposal was made directly by the Palestinian authorities. Although Israel has not yet officially responded to the proposal. Palestine has come forward for help during major fires before, but this proposal is even more significant because it comes at a time when Israel itself is appealing for international assistance.
Italy and Croatia have already promised to send firefighting planes to Israel. Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria have also been contacted for assistance. In this atmosphere of international assistance, the Palestinian offer is a shining humanitarian testimony in history.
One analyst commented, “This fire is not just a forest, but also reflects the fire of hatred that has accumulated in humanity. Against that fire stands a nation, in whose hearts Israel has lit the fire. Yet they have raised their hands to put out the fire.”
This incident is not just a humanitarian gesture, but an extraordinary exception in the history of hostility and conflict. Where compassion replaces revenge, people become the main force to protect people.
This offer may be a mere ‘help’ for Israeli policymakers, but in the eyes of history it is an unforgettable chapter in humanity.
