In the wake of the recent gunmen's attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, India may take military action at any time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent meeting has indicated. He held a meeting with the country's top security and defense officials at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday (April 29).

The meeting was attended by the three service chiefs, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. In this high-level meeting, the Prime Minister gave a clear message - the Indian armed forces have been given full freedom. The right to decide when, where and how to attack will be completely in the hands of the forces.

According to reports by Times Now News and NDTV, Prime Minister Modi said, "The devastating blow of terrorism is India's national resolve." Analysts believe that his statement has given the army a 'green signal' to launch a military operation against those involved in the Pahalgam attack.

Immediately after the meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah went to Prime Minister Modi's residence, which further increased the seriousness of the situation.

India is directly blaming Pakistan for the recent attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir. However, Pakistan has denied this allegation as usual. It is noteworthy that in February 2019, 40 CRPF jawans were killed in a suicide attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. In response to that incident, India demanded an air strike on Pakistan's Balakot.

Modi will meet the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on Wednesday. It is believed that a final strategic decision regarding this situation may be taken there.
