Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has issued new instructions on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. In this instruction, recording and live broadcasting of imams and worshipers during prayers and Tarawih prayers in mosques during the month of Ramadan has been banned.
According to a report by Gulf News, the main goal of this decision is to ensure a suitable environment for worship, protect the safety of worshipers, and carry out religious rituals peacefully.
Sheikh Dr. Abdur Rahman Al-Sudais, Head of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Masjid-e-Nabawi, said that initiatives have been taken to modernize and digitize mosque activities during the month of Ramadan for the convenience of worshipers.
Analysts believe that such instructions will help worshipers maintain their focus and maintain the atmosphere of holy worship.
