Guatemala bus crash: 51 dead!

A bus crash in the Central American country of Guatemala has killed 51 people. Many more were injured. The tragic incident occurred when the bus lost control while crossing a bridge and fell into a ditch.
Guatemalan fire service spokesman Minor Ruano said that the bodies of 36 men and 15 women were recovered from the scene of the accident. The injured are being treated at a local hospital. The accident occurred in a busy road from the capital, Puente Bellis.
Rescue workers said that many people may still be trapped under the wreckage of the bus. The operation is underway. Guatemalan President Bernardo Arevalo has declared three days of national mourning after the accident. He said, "The pain of the families of the deceased is my pain."
The president of Guatemala's Congress described the incident as heartbreaking and expressed condolences for the victims. Rescue work is still underway.
