India was shocked by the sudden death of Ratan Tata on Wednesday night. India's Tata Group chief Ratan Tata breathed his last at the age of 86 on Wednesday (October 9) night. He is 'a man who has no enemies', such a successful man, but never married, has no children. Always single Ratan Tata once suffered from loneliness. He also talked about it with ex-lover Simi Garewal.
On Thursday, Simi Garewal wrote on Facebook, 'They say you are gone. It is very hard to bear the loss of your absence.. very hard.. goodbye friend..'.
Simi and Ratan Tata were in a relationship decades ago. However, the relationship did not end. Many years ago, Simi had told about dating Ratan Tata for a while.
Ratan Tata also came for a rendezvous with Simi Garewal once. where he was asked why he had never married. The reply came, 'A whole series (stopped me from getting married) - time, absorption in my work at that time. I came close to getting married at times, but it didn't work out.'
Ratan Tata also said, he fell in love about four times and came close to marriage, but it never worked out. Although he sometimes feels lonely, he admits that too.
"There are times when I feel lonely because I don't have my wife or family. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have them. I enjoy the freedom of never having to worry about other people's concerns or feelings. Sometimes it feels a little lonely.
In 2011, Simi admitted his relationship with Ratan Tata.
On the other hand, in an interview given to Humans of Bombay, Tata said, 'While in LA, I fell in love for the first time, almost got married. But I had to return home at that time. My grandmother is sick. I came to my grandmother, thinking that my future wife would also come. But during the Sino-Indian war, the girl's parents did not allow her. This girl, however, is not Simi Garewal.
However, the reason for Tata-Simi's separation is still unknown.
