Shami Kaiser has resigned from the post of president of E-CAB, an association of e-commerce traders. Shami submitted his resignation letter to the Executive Council of E-CAB on Tuesday, August 13. He also requested that it be implemented immediately. E-CAB Financial Secretary Asif Ahnaf confirmed this information.
In the resignation letter, Shami Kaiser wrote, I have served as the president of e-cab for the last three terms. I believe that e-cab has established itself as a strong association in these three terms. We have brought this association to this stage today by working at various levels of government. The e-commerce ecosystem in Bangladesh stands strong today.
There are still many challenges in this regard and I am presenting the plan to work on those challenges to the Executive Committee of E-CAB. I express my gratitude to all dear e-cab members who have always supported me in this process.
He said that the current executive council assumed responsibility through a transparent election in the last term. After assuming such responsibility, various challenges have to be faced while carrying out activities towards specific goals.
