Gallstones dissolve without surgery!

Published: 05:37 8 September 2025
Gallstones are a common problem that usually cause severe pain in the right side of the abdomen, indigestion, nausea, and gas. Sometimes doctors recommend surgery. However, due to advances in medical science, it is now possible to dissolve stones without surgery in some cases.
Some modern methods of dissolving stones are:
Medication: Special medications can gradually dissolve small gallstones. However, it is a long-term process and regular monitoring by a doctor is necessary.
Shockwave therapy (ESWL): High-frequency shockwaves are used to break the stones into small pieces, which are then naturally excreted from the body.
Endoscopy: Small stones can be removed from the bile ducts using a special instrument.
However, not all types of gallstones can be dissolved in this way. Surgery is the safest solution for large or complex cases. Relying on home remedies or unproven methods can be dangerous.
Helps prevent gallstones: Eating a low-fat diet, exercising regularly, maintaining weight, and drinking enough water.
Therefore, if you are diagnosed with gallstones, it is important to seek the advice of a specialist without panicking. With proper treatment, in many cases, the problem can be resolved without surgery.
