Amin Khan Wanted to Work on Salman Shah’s Unfinished Films Without Remuneration

After Salman Shah’s death, Amin Khan offered to work without pay to complete the actor's unfinished films. In a recent podcast, he revealed that this decision stemmed from a desire to stand by the affected producers and directors and out of love for his friend.

However, it was not possible to join every project. According to Amin Khan, he ultimately worked only on the film *Swapner Nayok* because the storyline allowed for the necessary adjustments.
Recalling those days, Amin Khan mentioned that he was at the FDC on the morning news of Salman Shah’s death arrived. The sight of producers and directors weeping and in a state of helplessness deeply moved him; witnessing their reactions, it seemed to him as though they had lost everything.
That was when the idea to carry forward the unfinished projects occurred to him. Amin Khan wanted to act without remuneration if the storylines could be restructured to keep Salman’s character present in the narrative. This could have offered the concerned producers and directors a chance to recoup some of their losses.

Amin Khan noted that his proposal was also driven by his emotional bond with his friend. He felt that completing the films would alleviate some of the pain felt by those in the film industry and bring peace to his late friend's soul.

He mentioned that while he never had the opportunity to act alongside Salman in the same film, they shared a friendship and frequently spent time together. It was this relationship and a sense of responsibility toward his colleagues that motivated him to offer his help.
Ultimately, it was not possible to alter the storylines of the other films in the required manner, Amin Khan explained. Remembering Salman, he said, "Wherever my friend is, may he be well—that is always my wish."
