Dhaka, June 5, 2026: Popular star Shakib Khan has now appeared in a different role in the new movie 'Rockstar'. Compared to previous action-based films, this time he has appeared in the role of a musician with a guitar and microphone, which has created new interest among the audience.
The story of the movie is mainly based on music. In it, Shakib Khan plays the role of a musician named 'Agun', who is a member of a band. His life struggle revolves around childhood family crises, stage fright and the struggle to create his own identity.
According to the story, Agun was initially afraid of going on stage, but at one point he suddenly captivated the audience with his live performance. Then, when his song went viral, he received offers from big production companies one after another. But the pressure of fame and personal crisis gradually pushed him towards disaster.
An important chapter of love has also been added to the story through the character 'Meera', which takes the main story towards a romantic drama.
Shakib Khan's performance in the movie has received mixed reviews. Some believe that his emotional performance, which has come out of the action, has been able to attract the audience in a new way. His performance is being praised especially in the broken and helpless scenes.
On the other hand, according to some critics, the story of the rise and fall of the musician is not fully developed and there are weaknesses in the screenplay in some places.
However, 'Rockstar', as the first film of director Azman Russo, is being considered an attempt at a new kind of story and presentation.
There are a total of 10 songs in the movie, which highlight the different emotions and stages of the story.
