The incident took place between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Sunday (August 4). The channel's studio occupied most of the floors of the building located at Pragati Sarani in the capital. A source related to Gunbangla said that parts worth crores of rupees were damaged in the incident.
Kaushik Hossain Tapas, managing director of the company confirmed the incident with a post on Facebook.
In a video of the Ganbangla building attack, it was seen that almost all the glass outside the 8th to 10th floor of the building was broken. Even the internal parts are being dismantled and thrown out. A fire was burning in front of the building. Why such outrage on the music channel? When asked, Tapas could not give any answer. He is shocked by the incident.
Almost all musicians of the country have been seen singing on Ganbangla channel. Apart from this, Tapas used to organize various government events. Many say that his closeness with the government is known to everyone. That's why angry mobs may continue to wreak havoc on the channel. Bangladesh television was also set on fire during the quota reform movement.
