Southern film's popular actor and politician Vijay has finally opened up about the various controversies and rumors surrounding his personal life. While the news of his separation from wife Sangeetha Sornalingam and rumors of his romance with actress Trisha Krishnan are being widely discussed on social media, he has advised his fans not to get upset about these.
Recently, while participating in an event organized on the occasion of International Women's Day, Vijay said that he is sorry that his fans are being hurt by the news that is being spread about his personal life.
He said that the common people do not need to worry about the problems that are being heard about him at present. He told his fans that everyone should focus on their own work instead of wasting time on negative things.
However, he also mentioned that it hurts him when fans are hurt due to events in his personal life.
Meanwhile, Vijay's comments have received mixed reactions on social media. Some are seeing his statement as positive, while others are criticizing it as irresponsible.
It is worth noting that the issue of long-standing marital tension with his wife Sangeeta has reached the court. Sangeeta has filed a divorce case alleging cheating and has approached the court seeking the right to live in her in-laws' house.
There are also rumors that Vijay has offered to pay his wife around Rs 250 crore as alimony as part of the divorce.
Meanwhile, a new controversy has also arisen regarding Vijay's closeness with actress Trisha Krishnan. This rumor became stronger after they were recently seen together at a domestic function in Chennai.
Currently, the personal life of the actor, who is busy with his political party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), is now the focus of discussion in the entertainment world of Tamil Nadu and the entire country.
