Shafin Ahmed said on Seber Live, "I said that I don't want to do music with the current Miles members anymore. Leaving Miles carries another meaning. I didn't say that. Miles is my band. Miles is staying in this place because of my many troubles. I can't let go of Miles. You can't make music with everyone. Music is a sacred work. Working together means spending a lot of time together. But where there is absolutely no likeness of mind, it is not possible to make music. I want to move away, but my music will not stop.'

Regarding the termination of the band's activities, he also said, 'I think, my work and contribution is behind this team. I have built its reputation and brand value. They will use those benefits without settling with me, it does not look good.'

It's not possible for me to play music with them, participate on stage or record, acting like this, with my values ​​aside, everything is fine. It is in my nature to protest injustice and injustice. If there is no natural solution to them, I will have to take the help of the law.

From that point on, I wanted none of us to use the name Miles.'

Shafin Ahmed has given voice to many popular songs in his journey of almost 40 years with Miles. His songs 'Chand Tara Surya', 'Jhala Jhala Antare', 'Phirye Dao Hara Prem', 'Pahari Mey' have become popular songs over the years.
