Although the situation is somewhat normal, there are still worries about the shooting of the drama. Shooting stopped for 10 days due to quota reform movement. There have been reports of the shooting of a handful of serials and short dramas, but the shooting of most of the dramas has been cancelled. According to the drama directors, producers and acting artists association, the shooting of more than a hundred dramas has been stopped. There is also uncertainty about the start of shooting in full swing. As a result, the crew of the drama is facing losses.
After the Eid holidays, small screen stars were regularly shooting. After the break of Eid, the shooting of all dramas in the country was suspended due to the quota reform movement. Although the situation is somewhat normal, the situation has not yet developed to return to shooting, said the director and crew of the play.
Several actors including Musharraf Karim, Tausif Mahbub, Farhan Ahmed Jovan, Mushfiq R Farhan, Khairul Basar have canceled the shoot. Of these, Khairul Basar has canceled the shooting of at most four dramas. He had a continuous shooting from July 19.
Khairul Basar said, "I am in a state of stagnation. People are still in fear outside Dhaka and Dhaka. The students have not reached any decision yet. How will the shooting environment be created? Shopkeepers may be able to keep shops open for some time, continuing business operations. But it is difficult for us. It is mentally difficult to shoot in such a situation. Again, shooting is my livelihood. At the end of the month, the expenses have to be spent by shooting. There is no way to sit for a long time. This actor is thinking that he will start shooting on August 1.
Like the artistes, the makers are also in a state of mental turmoil about the shooting. Among them, many producers including Salahuddin Lovelu, Tuhin Hossain, Vicky Jahed, Rafat Majumder, Mohan Ahmed, Tarek Reza, Mahmud Mohin said that they have suspended the shooting of the drama. However, as the curfew was relaxed, some shot to avoid schedule complications. Someone has shot to avoid the serial drama promotion being blocked. One such director is Tuhin Hossain. He said, 'My shooting was in Rajshahi. But on the last day, the shooting was stopped as the conditions were not good. Meanwhile, I have to shoot to avoid the complications of promoting my campus play. We are shooting some parts of Rajshahi in Uttara. There is no way.
Actress Nazia Haque Arsha, Pavel and many others have participated in the shooting of this serial called Campus. Arsha said about the experience of shooting, "I have to shoot under compulsion and risk." In fact, I am still not mentally ready to shoot in that environment. I would not have shot at such a time if there were no publicity complications. The environment for practical shooting has not yet been created. As I have to return home, the road is jammed. Meanwhile, we have to think about returning from shooting. What happens when!'
Actor Niloy Alamgir went to travel outside the country during Eid with his wife. He returned to the country recently amid the unstable conditions of the country. As the curfew was relaxed, he also participated in the shooting of a play in Pubail. He was accompanied by actress Jannatul Himi. Maidul Rakib is the director of the drama which was initially named Gur Doctor. Actress Himi said, "The director took permission from the police station. We shot according to all the rules. There was no problem in the shooting house. Still worried. The panic will not end if the whole situation is not normal. He said that he and Niloy are thinking of participating in the shooting of a play in Uttara on Saturday too.
Ahsan Habib Nasim, president of Abhinaya Shilpi Sangh, said that the actors were stuck shooting in many places including Pubail in Cox's Bazar, Gazipur since last Thursday. He thinks that the environment for full-scale shooting has not yet been created. Because many actors are still in fear. Many of them had a volatile environment in front of their houses, some were terrified of being caught in the shooting. This leader of artists said, "We are all waiting for the environment to be normal." We have already suffered a great loss. If this continues, the livelihood of many colleagues will come to a standstill. Everyone is waiting for the situation to be completely normal. We are thinking about when that will happen.
