About five years after the breakup of her first marriage, popular actress and model Shabnam Faria is getting married again. The wedding ceremony was held on Friday after Asr in the presence of close relatives of both families. Faria herself confirmed this to the media.
Faria's second husband, Tanjim Tayyab, is a resident of Rajshahi. He has completed his master's degree in financial engineering from the University of South Wales, Australia, and is currently working as an assistant vice president in a leading private bank in the country.
Earlier, in 2018, Shabnam Faria married Harunur Rashid Apu, who was a senior manager of a private marketing company. After three years of love, they exchanged rings in February 2018 and a grand wedding ceremony was held in January 2019. But that marriage did not last long. Faria and Apu officially signed the divorce papers on November 27, 2020.
Expressing her feelings about the marriage, Shabnam Faria said, “My feelings about marriage have always been complex—no less than anxiety. After going through various complex and personal experiences related to marriage, I thought that this chapter might not come back. However, with the passage of time and the sudden decision of the family, this is the result.”
Since the news of the second marriage broke, social media has been flooded with well-wishes. Friends, colleagues, and fans have wished Faria well for her new life.
