A new piece of news about 'style icon' Salman Shah has gone viral on the internet. The prince of Bengali cinema rode a Royal Enfield brand bike that had just arrived in the country 29 years ago. As soon as the news spread across the internet, the hearts of Salman Shah's hundreds of millions of fans were filled with emotion.
Salman Shah was exemplary in the world of style. His style is admired everywhere from Bollywood to Hollywood. Even today, there has been no hero in Dhallywood who can rival him in style. That's why the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word 'stylish icon' is Salman Shah.
Despite acting in only 27 films, he became immortal. One of his films is 'Chawa Te Paawa'. The song 'Saathi Tumi Amar Jibon' from this film, which was released in 1996, has recently gone viral on the internet. And at the beginning of the song, Salman Shah is seen riding a Royal Enfield bike with actress Shabnur!
Not only that, the Royal Enfield logo is clearly visible on the tank of the bike. Surprisingly, while the bikes of this brand started coming to Bangladesh around 2025, Salman Shah rode it in 1996.
Recently, on a Facebook page called Royal Enfield Fan Club - Bangladesh, a user named Mohammad Fahim posted a picture of a song scene and wrote in the caption,
"Currently, the country's top popular bike brand is Royal Enfield. What we got in 2025, Salman Shah rode in the 90s."
After the post went viral, netizens praised Salman Shah's style in the comments. One wrote, "What Salman Shah did was 50 years ahead of his time." Another wrote, "It's still amazing to think how far ahead he was in terms of thinking."
Royal Enfield bikes are usually fast. Many have raised the question, "Was it possible to ride such fast bikes on the country's roads back then?" In response, fans said, "Before 2000, there was no CC limit for bikes in Bangladesh. Honda Company used to sell 200 CC bikes at that time."
The bike that Salman Shah rides in the song scene is one of the most popular models in the world from the 70s to the 90s. Even in Hollywood movies of that time, similar bikes were seen. Especially the models known as 'Police Road King' were very popular at that time.
A moment from 29 years ago remains memorable even today, for Salman Shah's style and class.
