Actress Shruti Das sang a protest song to the tune of Shakira.

The injured body of a female doctor was recovered from the doctors' rest room at RG Kar Medical College Hospital located in Shyambazar area of Kolkata in the early hours of August 9. Later in the post-mortem, it was revealed that the doctor was killed after being raped.
However, after the body was recovered, the hospital authorities said that the doctor had committed suicide. After this statement of the authorities, first Kolkata erupted, then the whole of West Bengal roared.
Actress Shruti Das, famous for Indian dramas 'Trinayani' and 'Rangabau', has protested against the rape and murder of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
This time he sang a protest song to the tune of famous pop singer Shakira. He wrote the lyrics himself, and supported the movement of junior doctors by singing this song. Many netizens have praised her after hearing this song.

Even before this, he has protested this hateful incident on social media. Recently she went to a restaurant to celebrate Swami Swarnendu's birthday. He shared that video on social media.
Seeing that, many thought that the actress may have forgotten the protest and returned to the Anand festival. But, this protest attempt of hers has proved everyone's comments wrong.
