Drug dealer arrested with 1 kg of ganja in Boda, Panchagarh, accomplices absconding

The police have arrested a drug dealer named Kshitish Chandra Roy (39) with one kg of ganja in Boda upazila of Panchagarh. At that time, some of his accomplices fled.
On Sunday (June 7), based on a secret information, the police conducted a raid at his house in Bhelapukuri village of Maidandighi union of Boda upazila. A team of police officers led by SI Tapan and SI Omar Faruk arrested him in the raid.
Police said that about one kg of ganja was recovered from the arrested person. However, 3-4 more accomplices with him escaped. Later, he was taken to the police station.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Boda police station Sohel Rana confirmed the matter and said that a drug dealer was arrested in a raid based on secret information. An operation is underway to arrest the absconding accused.
He also said that a regular case under the Narcotics Control Act is under process against the detained person.
