Fraudster Tutul in Savar: Innovative fraud behind a computer shop

A new fraudster has been found in Savar, his name is Hasanul Haque Tutul. It has been alleged that he is swindling millions of taka from the common people by opening a computer shop in the National Blind Organization Market. Tutul is trapping the common people by introducing himself as an "expert" in various government works behind the shop.

According to the victims' complaints, Tutul promised to do various government works including correction of national identity cards, birth registration, and cancellation of land rent. But after taking the money, he started making excuses. He does not complete any work on time, but keeps the victims busy for months. In this way, one after another people are falling victim to his fraud.

Recently, as the complaints started increasing, Tutul changed his tactics. It is known that he changed the name of the shop and started business in the name of his brother. As a result, the cheated people cannot find Tutul anymore even when they go to the shop. Many are preparing to approach the administration in frustration.

Victim Anwara Begum said that she went to Tutul to correct a mistake in the national identity card of one of her relatives. Initially, Tutul assured that he would do the work quickly without any hassle. On the pretext of this, he first took 3,000 taka. Then, using various tricks, he gradually extorted another 15,000 taka by showing the application as 'C' category. In the end, no work was completed.

It is alleged that when Tutul's family members contacted, they tried to avoid responsibility by saying that they had no relationship with him. This is causing further suffering to the victims. Many of the victims of fraud are now disappointed, while some feel socially ashamed.

Meanwhile, the local administration has said that such fraudsters are active in different areas of Savar. However, if a written complaint is received, legal action will be taken immediately and Tutul will be brought to justice.

The victims have urged the administration to take immediate action so that the common people can escape the hands of fraudsters and regain their just rights.
