Attack on victim's family after being released on bail in Narail, 2 injured

It has been alleged that the accused in the case of killing three people in Barukula area of Narail have attacked the victim's family again after being released on bail. At least two people were injured and tension spread in the area.
According to local sources and the victim's family, the attack took place at around 7 am on Wednesday (May 20). One of the injured has been admitted to Narail District Hospital in a serious condition.
The injured Parveen Begum alleged that in the morning, the wife of the chairman of the Khair, her sister Shefali (member), Babul, Begum and some others pressured them to withdraw the case. At one stage of the conversation, she claimed that they attacked her with country-made weapons.
On the other hand, the accused Shefali Member denied the allegations and said that she knew nothing about the incident.
Earlier, on the morning of February 23, it was reported that Khalil Sheikh, his son Tahazzad Sheikh and Ferdous Sheikh were killed on the spot in an attack by supporters of the Khair chairman in the same area. Locals said that the accused in the case filed in that incident are currently out on bail.
After the incident, new tension has arisen in the area. Locals have demanded the intervention of the administration to control the situation.
Inspector Ajay Kumar of Narail Sadar Police Station said that they are aware of the matter. Legal action will be taken after investigating.
