Grand opening of 'Baser Chhauni Cafe and Resort' in Tetulia

This cafe and resort was officially inaugurated on Monday (December 15) morning in the area adjacent to Aziznagar Government College in Tentulia Upazila.

Tentulia Upazila Executive Officer Afroz Shahin Khasru was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. Freedom fighter Ayub Ali, Tentulia Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Abu Sayyid Mia, Tentulia BNP former Chhatra Dal president Saidur Rahman Bhablu, Tentulia BNP former Chhatra Dal leader and resort owner Khandaker Abusaleh Ibrahim Imran, Jubo Dal leader Khandaker Abunoman Enam, Tetulia JAGPA leader Shahidul Islam, Tetulia Chhatra Dal leader Abu Bakkar Siddique Sabuj and leaders of various political and social organizations were present as special guests.

Speakers at the event said that Tentulia is a potential tourist area. The opening of such an aesthetic and modern cafe and resort will create employment opportunities along with the development of the local tourism industry.

Resort owner Khandaker Abusaleh Ibrahim Imran said that all types of fast food including local food will be served at the Bamboo Shelter Cafe and Resort. In addition, there are entertainment facilities and residential accommodation for tourists. He expressed hope that it will ensure a safe and pleasant environment for families and tourism lovers.

After the event, a special prayer mahfil was held to wish for the overall success and prosperity of the resort.
