Pakistani citizen dies of heart attack in Tentulia

A Pakistani national named Abdul Mannan (53) has died in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh after attending the Tablighi Jamaat.
He died at around 12:30 am on Thursday, December 11 at the old mosque in Banglabandha Union of Tentulia upazila of the district. It is learnt that he is a Pakistani national. He is the son of Md. Adil Khana of Nowsera district of Pakistan. Police and Tablighi associates said that he was staying at the Banglabandha Old Jamaat Mosque from December 8 to 10 to conduct Tablighi Jamaat activities. On Thursday night, when he felt chest pain after eating, other members of the Tablighi Jamaat and locals took Abdul Mannan to the Tentulia Upazila Health Complex for treatment, where the doctor on duty declared Abdul Mannan dead. Later, his body was kept at the Shalbahan Road Madrasa and later taken to Panchagarh.
In this regard, Rashedul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tentulia Model Police Station, confirmed the death of a Pakistani national from Tablighi Jamaat on Friday morning, December 12, and said that a general diary (GD) has been filed at the police station in this incident.
