They asked the agitating students to leave the place with disrespectful behavior, unpleasant gestures and threats, but they did not move. Leaders and workers of Chhatra League at one point hugged them and stood in front of them and chanted different slogans. At that time, 10-15 cocktails exploded in front of the college and in the level crossing area of ​​Collegepara. At one point, Sadar Upazila Parishad female vice chairman Fatema Afrin along with some girls reached there and told the students to leave. The students sat there till 11 o'clock and took out the procession. The protesting students of other educational institutions also joined the procession.

Apart from this, another group of Chhatra League on motorcycles took sticks, pieces of wood and books to the road in front of the college, level crossing area, New Maurail and Kawtli area. rehearse They prevented students from various educational institutions from coming in front of Brahmanbaria Government College. At around 12:15 pm, the agitating students tried to proceed towards Brahmanbaria Government College again with a procession from Kautli intersection of the city. At that time, some students had bamboo in their hands. When they reached in front of the District and Sessions Judge's residence, some agitators along with District Chhatra League Joint General Secretary Rabiul Alam tried to stop the students. At that time, when the students attacked, Rabiul, the leader of the Chhatra League, was injured. There was an incident of stone throwing between the students and BCL leaders. Later, the leaders and workers of BCL chased them with sticks and clubs, and the students dispersed and fled from there.

The agitating student Farhana Sharmin said, "The leaders and workers of the Chhatra League pulled our banner and tore it. They stood in front of us and started chanting. Equality and women's empowerment are often talked about in this country. Where did all this go? They humiliated us in many ways. Because, we have come to demand quota reform. I have come to protest against the blood shed from the bodies of my brothers and sisters. There is no room for discrimination in this Bengal of the liberation war.

District Chhatra League president Rabiul Hossain said, "We have not given any obstacle to the students. If they have any demand, I have asked them to give it through the Deputy Commissioner. I tried to give them food along with water. But Chhatra League joint general secretary Rabiul was injured in their attack. He got four stitches on his right eye.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Billal Hossain said that they will inquire about the attack on the quota agitating students. The cocktail explosion is under investigation. Police are deployed at different intersections of the city.
