50 leaders and activists of BNP-JPA now in Jamaat-e-Islami

In Nazirpur, Pirojpur, Jatiya Party's Nazirpur Upazila General Secretary and Sadar Bazar Businessmen's Association President Al Amin Khan and BNP's Swechchhasebak Dal joint convener Md. Israfil Howlader have officially joined Jamaat-e-Islami as associate members after leaving BNP and Jatiya Party politics.
On Friday (September 12) at 10 am, they officially joined Jamaat-e-Islami by filling out the party associate form at a representative gathering organized at Nazirpur Dakhil Madrasa premises under the chairmanship of Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Abdur Razzak and moderated by Maulana Abu Dawood. At that time, 40 to 50 more people accepted party membership with them.
Masud Sayedee, Jamaat's nominated parliamentary candidate for Pirojpur-1 constituency, was the chief guest at the discussion meeting. Pirojpur District Amir Tafazzal Hossain Farid was present as the main discussant. The special guests were District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Abdur Razzak, Nazirpur Upazila Jamaat Secretary Retired Army Officer Kazi Mosleh Uddin, Upazila Youth Division President Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Secretary Sifatullah Bin Belali, Labor Welfare Federation President Md. Mafuzur Rahman, Upazila Shibir President Md. Abu Hanif and Secretary Sakibul Islam, among others.
In his speech at that time, Md. Israfil Hawlader said, “I am a Muslim, it is my duty to establish religion in the society. I want Islam to be established in the country. The ideology of the nationalist party BNP is not inspired by Islamic ideology, so I left the party and joined Jamaat-e-Islami. I want to live by embracing Islam all my life.”
