Biruttam Quader Siddiqui's house attacked in Tangail, car and window panes vandalized

The house of Krishak-Shramik Janata League president and freedom fighter Quader Siddiqui was attacked overnight in Tangail. Around 1 am on Sunday, 10-15 attackers vandalized his 'Sonar Bangla' residence on the city's District Sadar Road by throwing bricks and stones.
The caretaker of the house, Raju Mia, said, "Sir was resting on the second floor. The attackers climbed the gate and entered, vandalized two cars and broke several window panes. When people around came forward, they fled."
Earlier on Saturday, Quader Siddiqui suddenly fell ill while addressing an extended party meeting at Khan Market in Sakhipur upazila. Later, when he was brought home, doctors examined him and confirmed that he was healthy.
Sadar Police Station OC Tanvir Ahmed said, "The incident of the attack is under investigation. Those involved will be identified soon and brought to justice."
