General students recovered 2 trunks of weapons from the office cell of the branch Chhatra League in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of Rajshahi University and a pistol from the room of Branch Chhatra League President Mostafizur Rahman. Later they handed it over to the police.
On Tuesday (July 16), Dhaka, Chittagong and Jahangirnagar universities across the country staged protests against the BCL attack on students on campus. At that time they attacked Bangabandhu Hall.

The protesting students said that these weapons were recovered from room number 231 of Bangabandhu Hall. And the eyewitness agitators also reported finding 2 pistols in the room of BCL President Mostafizur Rahman.

Meanwhile, the students destroyed 19 motorcycles in the hall and vandalized the rooms of 15 Chhatra League General Secretary Asadullah-Hill-Galib. Meanwhile, 2 ramadas were also recovered from his room.

It can be seen on the surface, the quota agitating students entered the Rabi Branch Chhatra League President's room at Bangabandhu Hall during the protest rally. Later, a trunk was recovered by vandalizing there. Where three pistols and 6 native ramadas are available from office cell (room 231). Also some liquor bottles were recovered by ordinary students. In addition, the room of Asadullah-Hill-Ghalib, general secretary of Chhatra League branch of the university's Mother Bakhsh Hall, was also vandalized.
