Human chain and protest rally in Tangail to protest the arrest of ISKCON Prabhu Chinmoy Krishna Das

A “human chain and protest rally” was held in Tangail to protest the arrest of ISKCON Prabhu Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari. This program was organized in front of the Tangail Press Club at 11 am on Tuesday (November 26) under the initiative of “Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jote, Tangail Branch”.

From the morning, traditional religious followers started gathering in front of the Press Club. Although the police initially prevented the program from being held, the peaceful gathering was later allowed. Leaders and activists of various traditional organizations and people from different classes and professions of the district participated in the human chain. A protest procession was held after the human chain.

    Speech was made at the human chain by:
    - Biplob Dutta Paltan, President, Bangladesh National Hindu Mahajote, Tangail District Branch.
    - Shobhan Sarkar, President, Hindu Chhatra Mahajote, Tangail District Branch.
    - Abhijit Gaur, District Coordinator, Hindu Sanatani Jagrani Manch.
    - Sambhu Chakraborty, Joint Coordinator, Hindu Sanatani Jagrani Manch.
  • The speakers said,
    "The arrest of ISKCON Prabhu Chinmoy Krishna Das is intentional and he must be released immediately. The movement will continue until he is released."

Environment and Participation of the Human Chain
Leaders and activists of various traditional organizations of the district, students, and the general public participated spontaneously in the gathering. They expressed their determination to remain united in demanding the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das.

Protest and subsequent programs
A peaceful protest procession was held after the human chain. The speakers said,
"If Chinmoy Krishna Das is not released, a larger movement program will be taken up across the country."

The human chain and protest, organized to demand the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das, was completed peacefully. It sent a message of strengthening the movement to establish the rights and justice of the traditional community.
